Iberia Club Family account
Combine your Avios with those of your loved ones in a single balance. Discover how to share goals and go further together with the Iberia Club Family account.
Iberia offers you the possibility of pooling the Avios collected by all your family and friends in a single account. If you are an Iberia Club member at Silver level or above, you can activate the Iberia Club Family account from your private area by inviting your family or friends and including their Iberia Club or Iberia Kids membership numbers. Or if you are invited to join a family account (provided you are already an Iberia Club member), you will receive an email with an invitation, which you must accept within seven days. You complete the registration by indicating the date of birth of the main account holder – the person who invited you.
As soon as the first guest accepts, the family account will be set up. From that moment on, all Avios accumulated in each member’s account will be added together, and any Avios collected by each member from that point onwards will also be added to the shared account. With the shared balance, all participants in the family account will be able to spend the shared Avios on flights and experiences or use them to discount part of the cost of flights or extra services on iberia.com, as well as on platforms such as Wallet Vueling or Maridae. The cost of Avios for each action will be divided proportionally among the members. The only limitations on shared Avios are that they cannot be transferred between different Iberia Club accounts, combined with other airlines or lent to others.
Family accounts allow you to group together two to seven people, with one administrator who has permission to send invitations to other people, remove members or close the account. Each member will retain their Iberia Club level and associated benefits, as well as the Elite Points in their account and the policy for maintaining or upgrading their level.
The minimum duration of the family account is one year, but the administrator may remove individual members, who will leave the shared account with the number of Avios they have accumulated in their individual account during that time. You can also contact the Iberia Club Service Centre to deactivate the account earlier or manage a change of administrator if there is a justified reason to do so.
