The dynamic boarding pass, which is updated in real time

As part of our commitment to enhancing the customer experience through innovation, we have introduced the new dynamic boarding pass, which transforms the boarding experience. This new digital solution optimises operational boarding times and provides customers with real-time information by automatically updating to reflect any last-minute modifications, from a seat or boarding gate change to a cabin upgrade.

This functionality is available for customers who download their boarding pass in their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from Iberia’s website and for users of the Iberia app (iOS and Android). Customers also receive a push
notification with the new information on their mobile device.

IberiaGPT, for planning your trips

Introducing IberiaGPT, the new conversational travel recommendation assistant on ChatGPT, an initiative we unveiled at South Summit 2025 and which is now available on OpenAI's GPT Store. The project, based on artificial intelligence, is the first of its kind launched by an airline and serves to inspire and support customers in their travel planning, with features such as flexible flight search, personalised destination suggestions, budget-based recommendations and multi-destination route design. “This initiative reflects Iberia’s commitment to innovation and continued progress in improving the customer experience,” explains Nacho Tovar, Director of Innovation at Iberia.

Háblalo Iberia, an app to break barriers

As part of our accessibility strategy, we have launched the “Háblalo” app, a customised version of the application designed by Argentine start-up Asteroid Technologies, with features that improve the travel experience and give greater autonomy to people with communication difficulties. Its main feature is the transcriber, which converts text to speech and vice versa. In addition, the app translates into eight languages and allows communication through simple pictograms and keywords. It is available on the Play Store and Apple Store and does not require an internet connection to use.

AirTags for your bags

A partnership with Apple to integrate AirTag information so that customers can share the location of their luggage. To get to identify your checked luggage, simply place your Apple AirTag anywhere in your suitcase, preferably inside, and activate ‘Airplane Mode’ on your phone. The location of the Apple AirTag will be updated when you land and your phone reconnects to the network.
